In November we received a generous gift of $20,000 from the TD Charitable Foundation – a staunch supporter of MANNA for many years. One half of this gift will be dedicated to our food distribution efforts in Macon County. Thank you, TD!

Community Foundation of Western North Carolina

This month marks the close of a grant awarded to MANNA from the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina. The Foundation’s “People in Need” fund had awarded MANNA a grant in support of our FNS (food stamp) Outreach Program, for activities through 2016. It is due to the generosity of the CFWNC donors and others who have made designated gifts to our FNS program, that we are able to assist on average 136 households every month with food stamp applications, ensuring that families across WNC have regular access to the food they need to live and thrive.
