Ways to Lend a Hand this Holiday Season!

This holiday season, there are many ways that you can support MANNA, whether that is helping out at MANNA or by supporting local businesses across Western North Carolina!

• Volunteer at MANNA: Start the new year by volunteering at MANNA this January! For those interested in volunteering, we encourage people to sign up for shifts next month!

• CVS: Now through December 31st, CVS is having a register round-campaign. Shoppers will be able to round up to the next dollar at checkout and the difference will go to MANNA.

• Mast General Store: Shoppers will be able to round up to the next dollar at checkout and the difference will go to MANNA as part of Mast General Store’s December Register Round-Up Campaign.

• Mountain Xpress Give!Local: This year, MANNA is part of Mountain Xpress’ Give!Local campaign. By visiting their website, you can make a donation and receive fun incentives!

• Wicked Weed Brewing: Our friends at Wicked Weed have brewed a special beer just for us – “MANNA” – which is a fall-styled ale with cranberries, ginger and honey. $1 from every pour will be donated to MANNA throughout the holidays.

Grocery stores are also providing wonderful ways to help out this holiday season! 

• The Fresh Market: Until December 29th, shopper will be able to round up to the next dollar at checkout as part of The Fresh Market’s Register Round-Up Campaign. The rounded up portion will then be donated to MANNA!

• Ingles: As part of the 28th Annual Ingles Giving Tree, all local area Ingles stores will be selling $5 and $10 holiday icons at the register to benefit MANNA, now through the holidays.

• Harris Teeter: Our local area Harris Teeter stores will be doing a “Harvest Feast Round-up Campaign” to benefit MANNA, November 18 – December 29.

This will be immediately followed by a “Backpack Boosters Round-up Campaign,” specifically to benefit MANNA Packs for Kids, December 30 – January 26, 2021. Shoppers will be able to round up to the next dollar at checkout, and the difference will go to MANNA.

• Whole Foods: Our local area Whole Foods stores will be doing a register round-up campaign to benefit MANNA, December 10 – December 24.

The register round-up campaign will then be followed by, the Shop local, Give local campaign, which will run from December 7th-31st. Throughout the entire campaign, Whole Foods will match 100% of your local product purchase to support MANNA.
