Volunteering at MANNA with your company, organization, club or school is an excellent way to strengthen relationships and build teamwork among group members while supporting our community.

Getting Started

If you are interested in organizing a group to volunteer with MANNA, please fill out a group request form.

We will receive a notification once you submit your request and get back to you with available dates and further directions. Reservations are not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation email from us.

Who should fill out a group request form? 

Families, clubs, school groups, business groups, or other organizations of 5 or more volunteers can fill out a Group Request Form. If you are a non-business group of 5 or fewer, you can have each person sign up as an individual on available dates. *Note: The largest group size we are able to accommodate is a group of 10, unless 2-3 months’ notice is given.

Group Shifts

MANNA can host groups during almost every warehouse shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00AM-12:00PM and 1-3PM. At this time and until further notice, the Tuesday evening shift has been temporarily paused.

*Note: The largest group size we are able to accommodate is a group of 10, unless 2-3 months’ notice is given.

*Currently we are asking for at least a month or more notice for scheduling groups due to smaller shift sizes in the volunteer center. Please try to schedule your group opportunities with 2 – 3 months’ notice when possible.

Groups of All Ages Welcome

We welcome groups of all ages from pre-school to retirees and engage them in a variety of projects at MANNA. Some projects you and your teammates might engage in include: sorting donated product, repackaging bulk food, culling produce, building MANNA Packs and more.

We Love Having Groups in the Volunteer Center!

Groups bring their wonderful energy and make a lasting positive impact on the people of Western North Carolina.
