Round Up Campaigns / Register Promotions

The Fresh Market
11/1 – 12/31

Fresh Market shoppers are invited to round up their transaction to the nearest whole dollar at checkout to benefit MANNA.

Harris Teeter Harvest Feast Round-Up Campaign
11/1 – 12/26

Shoppers are invited to round up their transaction to the nearest whole dollar at checkout. MANNA will be the recipient of funds raised at the Harris Teeter stores in Asheville and Hendersonville.

Publix Markets Feeding More Together Campaign
11/8 -11/19

Publix Markets’ “Feeding More Together” campaign invites shoppers to make a monetary donation to benefit MANNA at the register.

Food Lion Feeds
11/8 – 12/12

Food Lion stores is hosting Food Lion Feeds, an in-store food drive program where customers have the opportunity to make a monetary donation to MANNA or purchase and donate a “Food Lion Feeds for the Holidays” box of food that will be donated to MANNA.

Crate and Barrel Holiday Giving Campaign
11/16 – 12/26

Shoppers are invited to make a donation to MANNA at the register or online at crateandbarrel.com/feeding-america.

Jersey Mike’s
11/18 – 11/19

All weekend, local area Jersey Mike’s stores will donate 20% of all sales to MANNA.

Community Events

31st Annual Ingles Giving Tree (11/20):

The 31st Annual Ingles Giving Tree will return to the Asheville Mall with an evening of live holiday music, a $2,600 Ingles gift card giveaway, and a true celebration of the thirty-year impact of this much-loved tradition. The tree lighting event will take place on Monday, November 20, from 4:00 to 6:00pm, at the Asheville Mall. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for MANNA.

Jus Running Turkey Trot (11/23):

Jus Running will be hosting their annual Turkey Trot road race. Runners can register for either the 5K Turkey Trot or the 1-Mile Gobble Wobble. A portion of the proceeds from each registration will benefit MANNA. Info at ashevilleturkeytrot.com.

Give With The Riv Seven Summits Challenge (12/7):

The Riveter’s Give With The Riv climbing challenge takes place on December 7, and will push the community’s limits with a Seven Summits Challenge of 142K feet. Proceeds from the event benefit MANNA. Info at riveternc.com.

Asheville Plays Annual Winter Wonder Walk (12/15-16, 27-30):

Asheville Plays will donate to MANNA $1 from every ticket sold for their live-action immersive story-walk on an outdoor trail complete with live characters, lights, local shopping, and a ropes course. Info at winterwonderwalk.com.

MANNA’s Virtual Turkey Drive (now through December 15)

This holiday season, MANNA FoodBank is dedicated to filling as many holiday tables as possible, and you can help us give thousands of households the gift of a holiday, of one less struggle, and a helping of hope.
