What is WIC?
WIC stands for Women, Infants, and Children.
It provides healthy food, nutrition support, and care for women, infants, and young children.
Apply for WIC NCIt is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program funded by the USDA.
If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or have a child under five, you may qualify for this program.
To apply for WIC, contact your county health department or complete the online referral form.
NOTE: MANNA FoodBank does not provide WIC services directly.
Who Qualifies for WIC?
- Infants

- Pregnant women
- Breastfeeding mothers (within 12 months of giving birth)
- Postpartum women (within 6 months of giving birth)
- Primary care givers for children under 5 (Fathers, grandparents, foster parents, etc.)

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at How to File a Program Discrimination Complaint and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form.
