At the forefront of the daily work of food distribution—getting food into our neighbors’ hands—is a partner network of nonprofit organizations across Western North Carolina driven by caring people who are passionate about serving our communities’ most basic needs. The MANNA Partner Network is a 200+ member alliance of food pantries, meal providers, domestic violence and housing insecure shelters, care centers for seniors and children, and other direct human service organizations who also provide free food to the community they support. It takes many thousands of people working together to provide the millions of meals needed each year to ensure that our neighbors facing an empty plate always have somewhere to turn for food. Right now, MANNA, our partner network, our volunteers, and our dedicated donors are working to serve more than 100,000 people each year, and the need in our region remains high. There is a place for everyone at MANNA’s table. We invite you to join our mission to end hunger in WNC, and become part of a community of people working tirelessly to ensure that anytime any of us needs food, the MANNA community is there to help.
