Lunch tickets: All advance sales will close at 2:00pm on Friday, September 23. No online or phone orders can be processed after that time. An extremely limited number of tickets will be available at the door-first come, first served.
Dinner tickets: Phone sales will close at 4:00pm on Friday, September 23, and online sales will close at 8:00am on Monday, September 26. No online or phone orders can be processed after those times. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
Empty Bowls turns 21 this year and MANNA celebrates this momentous occasion with two events! The first event will be the annual luncheon, taking place on Monday September 26 from 11:30 to 1:30. Admission is $25 which entitles attendees to all the soup, bread, and desserts they can handle, in addition to a handcrafted clay bowl, made by local artisans.
To better accommodate the crowds, we’ve added a dinner event as well to be held at the Biltmore Park Hilton hotel. This is a family friendly event where children under 12 eat for free. The dinner will be held from 5:30-7:30.
The luncheon will be held in the Burghley Ballroom at the DoubleTree Biltmore Hotel.
· For easiest access, please park in the rear parking lot.
· Plenty of unique bowls will be available, with half being placed for selection at 11:00 and the remainder at 12:00.
· The meal will include soup, bread, dessert and beverage – and most importantly, a handmade pottery bowl to keep!
· Also included will be the Collector’s Corner, with bowls available for purchase at market value; pottery-throwing demonstrations; and live music.
Empty Bowls Tickets are available now! Please choose which event you’d like tickets for in the drop down menu under “Purpose of Your Donation.” Also please include the names of each person attending the event. Tickets will be mailed to you by September 21. Any tickets purchased after September 21 can be picked up at will call.
