Dear MANNA FoodBank Supporters:
On behalf of our board and staff, and most importantly the 106,600 people in our community who seek food assistance each year, I would like to thank all of your for your steadfast and generous support in 2011. Our mission of involving, educating, and uniting people in the work of ending hunger in Western North Carolina has been enhanced and fulfilled by your donations of dollars, food, and time.
Your continued support is needed in the coming year as MANNA develops new and exciting ways to enhance the vision of a hunger free WNC. These goals include:
• working to improve local food security through local agriculture;
• maintaining pressure on our lawmakers to remain engaged in the work of ending hunger;
• continuing to address the needs of our most vulnerable populations – children and the elderly. With your support, all of these initiatives can be met and even exceeded.
Please accept our most sincere appreciation for your support in 2011. We look forward to many happy returns, together, in 2012.
