A To Stuart Ray, winner of the Asheville Home Builders Association fundraising competition for MANNA FoodBank. The association raised two tons of food and more than $2,500 for the food bank. Entrants in this year’s contest were asked to raise at least $50 or 50 cans of food. Ray raised 1,291 cans of food for the drive. He said, “I just asked suppliers and they were all happy to give. The important thing is that we got food to people in need for the holidays.”
